The Fitzroy Restaurant

The client for this project is an avid fan of James Bond and wanted to pay homage to the most celebrated British spy; so the relatively small space - located in the hipster trendy area of Fitzroy - will cater for up to twenty people at a time and be adorned with images of Bond in his various guises.  The internal space already featured much original ornate plaster work that the client was keen to keep and embellish with with marble benchtops, an original bar sourced from overseas, a gorgeous victorian fireplace and high end tables, chairs, cutlery and crockery.

The atmosphere of the space is intensified with the application of a dark crimson paint to the walls and ceiling plus a dark stain to the timber parquetry floor.

What sets this restaurant design apart from other establishments in the area is the attention to detail, the quality of the materials and finishes, plus the superbly appointed commercial kitchen. Although small, the area has been designed with a great deal of input from the head chef (who happens to be the owner of the business) who will be very happy with the end result.
